Not too long ago, game boards were used as a supplementary material to reinforce phonics.  It had been a fun and enjoyable method to reinforce phonics.  Now, this page contains copies of nostalgic game boards and cards used in the sixties. The sixties did provide successful educational materials in teaching reading.
