The book introduced in this video clip is a dream for teachers, since it is easy to use. It was written by a classroom teacher/reading specialist with 40 years of classroom experience. The lessons in this book focuses on one letter at a time by using action poem, tactile stimulation, pictures to enhance visual memory and specific questioning techniques to increase oral comprehension and vocabulary development. The author incorporates the four modalities of learning (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile) in her lessons. She has used this program with young children in a small group setting with amazing results.
